Free Cellphone - not free at all!

An employee of Vodacome phoned me and told me that because I am such a good customer, they are offering me a free cellphone - no cost involved, because of the way I conduct my account. She even gave me the amount of my monthly bill for the last 6 months. I asked her to make sure that this is not a new contract, because I already have two cell phone contracts and could not afford another one. She promised me that there is no contract involved and that my 'free' phone would be delivered shortly.

Needless to say, after the delivery of the phone, I charged the phone and after a few days, called Vodacom to check on my account status. It WAS AN ADDITIONAL CONTRACT!!

I have tried twice to cancel this additional contract and I am still waiting for someone to collect the phone. Nothing whatsoever was done. The invoice date is 14th May 2013 and I am being charged the fixed monthly fee for this service, without making a single call from the number..

Can somebody please help me?!
