IPhone 5 exchanged for refurbished model

I handed my iphone 5 in three weeks ago for repairs as the speaker did not work. Contacted the Vodacom branch in Brooklyn mall today to find out about progress on the repair work. I was told that the phone was ready for collection. When I went in Phemi the consultant informed me that the phone was exchanged. When I asked her what this meant she said that I was being supplied with a refurbished model. Obviously kicked up a fuss given that this is not part of my contractual terms, why should I be supplied with someone else's problematic handset. To add insult to injury they had already done the sim swap. I refused to take the refurbished handset and demanded that the sim swap be reversed so that I could continue using my old blackberry until the mess is sorted. Craig the store mngr said there is nothing they could do about the sim swap. This I sorted out myself with vodacom customer care. I am now paying for a handset, which I don't have and data which I can't access. This is lousy service and I want to cancel my account. Why did Vodacom sell me a lemon and now wants to replace it with another. You are in breach of contract... lousy, lousy service.
