I changed my payment method to cash due to Autopage just deducting any amounts as they see fit & when i previously posted my complaint on Hellopeter, all monies were reversed. Due to their cash payment policy, I am meant to receive a statement by the 7th of each month for payment to be effective by the 15th, instead of the normal end of month payment for debit order deductions. On this occassion, i did not receive a statement & on 27th June, i received a call to ask when i would be making a payment, no mention of a suspended service & when i said that i had not received a statemnet, one was sent immediately. So there was no reason that they could not get hold of me by the 16th to ask for a payment but instead opted to wait & rather make an extra R50 for the reconnection fee. No apology for not sending a statement & as far as business practise is concerned, all payments are made against invoices/statements. Its Ok for my account to have a credit balance that does not accrue any intrest but charged for any late payment. Even sending them an e-mail & asking for a telephonic reply to discuss the matter, resulted in an automated reply. The new statement reflects the reconnection charges.
