I called on the 19th of june to cancel my telkom adsl contract and was advised by Tebogo that I don't have a choice but to give 30 day notice and that my service would expire on 19th July. Ref TOC354231965. She advised me that their cancellations dept will have to call me to process my request. I asked that they call me after 5pm as I cannot use my cell during the day. On the 1st July I again called and spoke to Meisie this time who also confirmed that I don't have an option and that my service will only stop on 19 Jul. She could not give me any confirmation of this via email or anything. I got home on the 4th and my adsl was off. Tried to call support and theysaid I requested cancellation for 03 Jul. I can't even call the cutomer service cause my line is not working anymore. I get an sms with ref 81415165a. What this is about I don't know. I tried calling from someone else's place but after 45mins I gave up waiting. Can someone just confirm that I'm officially rid of all Telkom services PLEASE!!! I almost reconsiderd but I no longer want anything to do with TELKOM. I would like to find out how much I owe up to 3 jul to get rid of my affiliation with TELKOM.
