We upgraded a cell phone account 6 months ago and within 3 months the cell phone (Samsung galaxy Ace) starting playing up. It started freezing, loses signal connection and has to be switched off and then on again in order to regain connection. Keyboard doesnt work when typing are among the few issues. Took it back to the vodacom shop in Clearwater where you receive anything but a decent service from the employees there. They told us its a Samsung software issue and Samsung need to reload the software. Took it to samsung for a software reload and still the same issues persist. So we have now taken it back to Vodacom and once again received poor assistance from the employees at the repair centre in Cresta. Vodacom refuse to take any responsibitly for supplying us with a phone that doesnt work properly and are blaming Samsung for the fault. In my view if Vodacom are going to supply phones on contract that they do not wish to accept responsibility for then they should at least warn a person up front that you can expect the phone not to work properly or else they should supply phones that work properly. We pay Vodacom each month and therefore should expect to receive decent service.
