I am not a Vodacom client but my 22 years old sister is. She had a contract with Vodacom for 2 years in a Top Up system and when she upgraded she was given an open line contract without her knowledge. The first month of the upgrade R800 was taken from her bank account instead of R289 by Vodacom. Last month June 2013 R2000 was deducted from her bank account and when she goes to inquire about this she gets no straight answers. When she requests her bill for the 2 months still she gets no straight answers. This is and Vodacom has an obligation to all their clients, not just to my sister, to attend to matters that involve complaints like this with urgency.
I pray I don't have to take further steps with this issue.
