I have a contract with Nashua Mobile, I decided in May already that I wanted to terminate my contract. End may I contacted Nashua mobile, and they advices me to go into a branch. I then went to Nashua Mobile in Centurion Mall, where the lady informed me that I can ONLY cancel it from the 1 July. During the month of June I went back 2 more times, to confirm when I may cancel and once again the staff of the same store said to me, I can ONLY cancel it on 1 July.
Seeing that this is their work they get paid for, I took their word for it. I then went into the branch on Monday 1 July, filled in all the forms, afterwards I asked Was this month (July) my last payment, the lady confirmed that my debit order for 1 July is my last payment.
Just to follow up, I contacted Nashua Mobile Call center, the lady informed me, that I am still a payment due on 1 August, because, I didn't give a full months notice, and that I should have give notice on 23 June.
Now this is after I went into the same branch 3 TIMES to confirm my cancellation date, and all 3 TIMES they said to me 1 July, not even to mention I get told on the same day I cancel that my payment is done.
This is truly UNACCEPTABLE!!
