In December 2012 when the contract on my phone was due for upgrading, I requested a cession of the contract from my daughter-in-law's name to mine for convenience sake. I upgraded to a Nokia 710. Five months down the line the debit order was still going off the wrong account and the cession had not been done, even after confirmation by Nashua Mobile in Ballito to the contrary. At last, at the end of May, they managed to get the cession done. Upon receipt of my first statement, I realized they were charging BIS for the Nokia phone. I was promised a credit. Sunday, I was told this had been done. The full amount was debited off my bank yesterday and on querying with Head Office this morning, was told that there is no credit pending. Really, I have not experienced such non-service by anyone, ever!! You would think this would be an easy process. When you give someone a Nokia phone, surely you would know that BIS does not go with it. When you ask for the contract to be ceded, you would think it would happen immediately. When you get promised a credit, because you had to point out that they had made a mistake, you would think they would fall over their feet to correct it!!
