I lodged a complaint with Cell C in early February 2013. I have been told, some three months later after I have had to follow up on my complaint (as there is no follow up from Cell C re: their reference numbers), that Cell C are unable to help me with no explanation. I have not been allowed or given any contact numbers to enable me to communicate further than the technical department and subsequent emails are now being ignored. I fail to understand, if there is no network coverage (all over so im not limited to a specific area), what am I paying for? I was told that a request will be lodged on my behalf regarding the cancellation of my contract and to date I have heard nothing. I have been told to switch to the Vodacom network when I have no signal. This process can take up to an hour and I now spend 90% of the time on the Vodacom network in order to ensure signal. Im disappointed in the attitude of the staff at Cell C, the service and the clear disinterest in attempting to solve my problem. My desired outcome is that, my contact be cancelled, my handset will be returned, without penalty to me so that I may enter a contract with another provider that ensure service.
