I have an issue with my cell phone - I use it for private and business but it is giving up on me. I know I can upgrade some time in the near future. My contract renewal is June but I know MTN lets you upgrade a bit earlier.

i contacted Customer Services in October - they just said June is my upgrade time. Then someone suggested if I am unhappy, I should cancel. So I was referred to Retentions (to cancel - they call the department retensions?). I havent heard from them. I am tired of running after them.

All I want is either a phone that works and a date I can get this phone OR to find out what the cancellation fees are so I can make a decision.

This is the worst service I have ever encountered. Its so frustrating. I pay my bills every month. Maybe if I stop paying, I will get some attention. I need a phone that works. I dont want to leave MTN - but you wont help me. So why should I pay and beg for a bit of service?

the people I have encountered are rude. I hate phoning MTN.
