Early this year my father and father-in-law passed away and I had a contract for them as part of my bundle of cell no's with MTN. Knowing that it would be impossible to cancel 2 contracts over the phone, I went to MTN Pavillion with ID, Proof of address, Original account, letter to cancel, etc. Get there, take number, stand in line, wait', "You want to cancel 2 contracts? " Forms to be filled in, no forms, wait, get 1 set, need to make a copy, no copy paper, disppear to the back, wait, 1 hour later all signed, faxed, logged on, don't worry sir, all done. Last billing will be up to 10 April with final payment deducted from you at end April. Sure thing, at end of April full amount for 2 lines taken. AND IN MAY, AND IN JUNE!

This after calls to JHB callcentre 6 weeks ago who were "very sorry" for the error and promised, with a reference that it was NOW cancelled and I would get a refund. Today again phoned callcentre, blamed Pavillion branch. Went to Pavillion branch, they blamed JHB. Lost my sense of humour. Blame computers. I DON'T GIVE A . This is the level of service you get when MTN decide to rather do business with Nigerian politicains. MTN YOUR SERVICE!!!
