HTC One - MTN completely clueless and false

Hi

I've been trying to find out whether MTN will be stocking the HTC One and when it'll be available for me as a upgrade option. I have been due for upgrade for over 2 months now, waiting to no avail.

When contacting MTN via facebook they have confirmed they are getting, They have even asked for my details and shop closest to me. I have yet to hear anything from them. Everytime is just the same generic copy & paste reply.

When contacting MTN's retention department some staff confirm the are getting the device, and some have no idea what I'm talking about. Those who do know refuse to place me on a pre-order list (although other internet users seem to have had success with this) stating that they don't do pre-orders and I need to talk to a shop.

When talking to any of the shops, none of the staff (different shops) have any idea what I'm talking about and keep telling me to take a Galaxy S4. Maybe you should keep your staff in the loop?

Please MTN, give myself and all the other clients you have some clarity on this. I need to know whether to cancel my contract in August and go to a service provider that bothers to stock popular devices or not.
