Nashua Mobile
Day light

Telecommunications

I recently took over a contract on the 15th May 2013 with nashua mobile which was previously owned by my previous employer. My understanding is that I should only be held liable for payments of the contract from the day of the contract inception till now. To my amazement nashua took it in their power and debited my account for the entire month of May despite the FACT that I only took over ownership of the contract from the 15 th. My attempts to get the matter resolved has been met with responses that do not make sense in any way, and an inefficient contact center team. A pro-rata billing approach should have been adopted in this regard and they should be focusing their efforts to recoup all outstanding fees from the 1st of May 2013 to the 15th May 2013 from my previous employer instead of pining me down to pay for a period which i am NOT legally liable for.

My understanding of a contract is that one is only liable legally from the day the contract resumes not for any other period prior to that. Nashua Mobile's billing methods are inefficient and should be re-looked if they intend to keep any clients. I personally will not be advising no one to take over a contract with them.
