MTN using technicalit's 2 avoid warranty liability

HVRC repair assesment states that due to moisture found on board warrant is void, i dispute finding based on the following sequence of events/circumstances:
1.Phone was fully functional when we went into MTN columbine square store.
2.Reason for store visit was only to request a blackberry id security wipe.
3.The store was not suppose to assist with security wipe as per the manager, we were not informed of this and any risks associated with such a procedure.
4.The phone liquid damage indicator is and was white in colour with no indication of any excessive liquid damage, built in check for this phone.
5.Security wipe failed prompting store to send in for software reloading.
6.Manager of store followed up with repair centre technician performing the software reload who reported back that software load process does initiate but fails.
7.All points above has no bearing on occurrence of some moisture on board.
8. warranty terms and conditions, the first time i was provided with this was when assesment report was supplied
