I logged I call three days before I left to go to Israel to change my phone account to International roaming.
Three days before returning, Cell C cut my phone off completely suspended due to high usage.
I could not contact the service provider or my family to find out why.
I was in distress due to my first time traveling into a new country could not contact anybody.
When returned to SA I contacted Cell C immediately, they suspended my phone and now requesting a 50% upfront deposit for calls made internationally, my account came to end of June approx. 2500 (which includes all four my contracts) and the international calls are only due at end of July approx. R4500 but my phone can not my reconnected until I have paid 50% of my bill upfront. My account contract is unlimited amount so I can call to any limit, no terms or cost were explained or told me that should I reach a certain limit my phone will be suspended to that I will be required to pay a 50% deposit upfront. And that my phone will be suspended while still roaming in a other country. I find this very distressed and called the call centre buut not assisting me at all
