Failed to deliver phone in almost a month

I signed up for a new contract via the call centre on the 18th of May. A week later received an SMS stating that the port had failed, so I called in and the person told me that since I was on contract they would organise that I only port on receipt of the phone in about a weeks time.

After a week and a half I requested to be called back (via the website) so that I could check on the status. Someone called me and I was told everything was on track, there was a slight delay and I would receive the phone within a few days - it was already on the way to the delivery company.

A week later - today - I called again, and this time the operator said that my contract was not yet loaded. Someone was on sick leave and had not loaded my details, she would have to load it again! She also said she would try to expedite the delivery for the next day, and call me back to confirm what happens. It's now 18:00 and I have not received any calls...

I haven't even paid my first bill yet, and have already had so many issues with Cell C. Maybe it's a sign that I should cancel the contract before it even begins?
