REFUSING CONNECTION REFUND AFTER DEVICE FAILURE

I signed a contract at Alisom Tzaneen vodacom around a week ago for a data and tablet contract. I had a problem as it was only connected after 4days after signing contract, there hadn't been a manager present to process. Now after receiving my device and activated I had charged and taken home, used the device around 2days when it died with 60% battery power and refused to charge. I then took it back within the 7day device failure condition. Once again the service was shocking, after an hour of arguing I had the consultant fill out an OBF form to send the device in as they need to now determine if it was my fault or a manufacturing fault, now I am agitated and the consultant has no idea how to fill in this form, I had to guide her through a self explanitory form. Ihad decided to cancel my contract due to lack of service and device failure. The next day in store I called cancellations and accounts and both stated I will be fully refunded, but the store refuses. The consultants are wiping their hands clean as there is no manager present. The consultant spoke to accounts and cancellations off my phone as they didn't try to assist. I am Furious, why is vodacom service so shocking!!!
