A year ago I bought a 2GB data card from CellC in La Lucia Mall for my iPad. I knew I would not be using much cellular data as I was on wifi most of the time, hence bought data which would last a year. It is now a year down the line (the data expires on 9 June) and I still have 1, 4GB remaining. I have been frustrated the whole year, as I have now been to Cell C about 5 times as each time the data service has to be rebooted or unlocked or something. It happens at the most inconvenient time, just as I need to use the card. Once technological service is called, I speak to them direct as the staff at the Cell C outlets have little idea of the problem and I have even been advised that the sim card is faulty and that i needed to buy a new one. A call to the technical service put paid to that!
Today it happened again, and I really think that this is the pits! Every time I go and try and get it sorted out (I go to Cell C store as I am not prepared to spend my money on phoning them from a non-Cell C phone), i hit the same problems. So Cell C, you've lost one very unhappy customer and I hope that your other clients don't hit the same speed bumps.
