Cell C internet is extremely slow

I purchased a Giga 200 sim card in February this year and for the first few weeks the speeds achieved when connecting to the internet were excellent. From March the speed that I am getting, especially during peak periods, is extremely slow despite the signal being above 80%. This is when I can actually connect to the internet as the connection is always disconnecting and reconnecting. It is so bad at times that web pages do not even load because they time out.

I contacted the call center and all they could tell me was that the network is congested and they are working on it but they could not give me any indication when the problem will be resolved.

The data on my sim expires in eight months and there is a strong possibility that when the twelve month period is up, I will have a large amount of unused data that will expire due to Cell C's poor network quality.
