I have been complaining about the VODACOM 3G network in my area (Randparkridge) for the last 4 - 5 years!
3G is supposed to operate at around 3, 6 - 7, 2 MBPS, mine during the day works at around 25KBPS, about what an old Telkom line will operate at.

I have been complaining for a long time like I said and Vodacom very kindly erected a small antennae on my roof, which sadly does nothing...
Now and then I get an sms from them saying they are planning another tower in the area... no chance!

I was in another area, got 4 solid bars of signal and it was super speedy.with the same laptop and 3G stick.

Wake up Vodacom, I stay in Randparkridge, an urban area which has been around for at least 25 years, not the Deepest part of the Amazon, get it right!

Vodacom? I should have chosen MTN!!!
