Oken promises

I applied for a cellphone contract for the SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 with Cell C keywest on the 28/05/13 and was advised that application has been approved but they didn't have the item that day, I was told that I will get the phone on thursday the 30/05/13 and they will call to notify me and there was no call made to me.
I eventually called the store on the 01/06/13 to found out what was happening and I told that they still don't have the phone and they didn't know when they will get it.

how can you sell a customer something you don"t have?!
My friends and Family have been telling me how great Cell C is but as a first time customer I am very Disappointed.
