Porting to MTN takes over a month

It seems cell phone companies all have the same poor quality of service. I ported my no from MTN to CellC and it was done on the same day. I was subsequently disgusted with CellC service and cancelled my contract which was an episode and a half. I decided to port back to MTN at the beginning of May. It is now over a month and I still have not had my number ported.

I keep getting excuses that there is something wrong with their system and it will be done soon. I have escalated to management to no avail. Have spent hours on the phone to various departments and it has still not been fixed

My recommendation if u are prepared to wait to have your number ported then only port to MTN else u will be one frustrated customer. One of the many inconvienences is being unable to make payments for over a month.
