I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 5 using the vodacom portal, Tuesday May 21st, I purchased a Nano SIM on Tuesday. Monday 27th the phone stopped working.
Call centre told me to go to the store to swap the phone.
At the Wonderpark branch they were totally confused, the call centre was wrong, I was told I should never have done the upgrade using the internet. After me being persistent of asking for assistance one hour and 30 minutes there was an arrangement of the delivery company to swop the phone This could take up to 7 working days. They do not have a courtesy phone, so I was forced to do a SIM swap to my old phone as I run my business using my phone...
Yesterday the replacement was delivered, I called the call centre and asked them to reactivate my Nano SIM, this could not be done over the phone, At the shop, waiting for almost an hour, I was told to buy a new Nano SIM as the previous one cannot be used again, so I had to wait in a queue to be served by a very unfriendly rep. Due to a faulty phone, I lost hours waiting for BAD service, was confronted with the non-existing Customer service of Vodacom representatives, had to pay 2 x R105.00 for something that is not my fault
