My Cell C contract is now in the 21st month of a 24 month contract, according to Cell C's website this means I'm due for an upgrade, just to be sure, about a month ago I phone 140 and check with them, sure enough they confirm upgrade due on 26th May.
For good measure I dial *147# per the instructions on their website and this too confirms upgrade date as 26th May.
So I go into the nearest Cell C branch and order the phone for upgrade, only to be told by the branch when I go to fill in the paperwork that they cannot do the upgrade, this can only happen in month 22 of the contract, I show them the website and again dial *147# to show them that according to Cell C I'm due for an upgrade, I'm then told that they cannot process the upgrade as Cell C's computer system locks them out of doing upgrades till month 22!
The branch manager phones Cell C to ask what's going on, the lady at the help-desk first accuses me of lying, then when the manager says he's looking at the proof she tries to accuse him of lying and the she gets all evasive.
What is going on Cell C your website is very clear, why are you not abiding by your own published rules?
