Telkom can never satisfy its customers

We have been without a service for the last 2 weeks and have just been informed that we will be without the service for another month! This is unacceptable.

Having enquired of the renewal of our telephone service, telkom has informed us that the service will only be restored only by 10/06/2013. Effectively we will be without telephone service for 6 weeks. This is totally unacceptable. Why hasn't telkom after all these years of cable come up with an alternative? You have millions of customers around South Africa who have been effected by cable but yet you haven't been able to provide effective satellite coverage so that Telkom customers lives' can stop getting disruptive. I find it so unfair that Telkom charges its customers service fees even when there is no services being provided. I am so frustrated as this is the 5th incident this year. Telkom are very quick to take customers money, and bill them but are not finding alternatives or providing better service for their loyal customers. Not once has Telkom has offered or advised on providing us with satellite phones even though we have been subjected with cable numerous times. VERY DISATISFIED
