I have been having incredibly bad reception on my cellphone in the area of Sharonlea for the past 4 or 5 months. When I called MTN coverage dept, I was informed that there is a problem with the 3G tower in the area. I asked for a timeframe in which I could expect for it to be fixed. No - they couldn't confirm when this would be. Needless to say - it's already been 5 months!! If MTN are unable to give me a reasonable timeframe in which they guarantee when this will be fixed, then I would think the least they should be able to do is to offer me a reduction in my costs on a monthly basis until they get it resolved 100%. Why should I pay 100% for a service that isn't being supplied 100%? This isn't acceptable. I am not able to use my phone for anything pretty much from 5.00pm in the evning until the next morning during the week and not at all on week ends. My children are unable to contact their father (who travels a lot) as they cannot get signal.

I think this is appaling and MTN's response is even more unacceptable. Find a solution or at the very least give me a timeframe that you intend to keep! Alternately refund me until you get it fixed! Wendy
