I handed my Samsung Galaxy S2 handset in at Virgin Mobile Menlyn for a screen repair on 16/04/2013. I was told that repairs could take up to 21 days, which I agreed to and signed the form. I received a quote and paid it within the following week. 22 days later (08/05/2013) my phone was ready for collection. Upon collection it was clear that the problem had not been fixed at all. My phone was taken for repairs yet again. Another 14 days later I received my phone, still faulty with a letter indicating "No fault indicated nor found". According to the Consumer Protection Act (2008) Part H Section 54, as a consumer, I have the right to demand quality service from a service provider. I have paid for a repair that was not done after waiting for 36 days. The only solution the Virgin Mobile Menlyn store clerk could offer me was to lodge a complaint against the company. Extremely dissatisfied with repair services.
