No one seem to take responsibility at Cell C

I ordered a phone on the 31st of April, which I received on Monday 20th May. One of the instructions I gave the lady who assist me on the phone, was that they do not give me a new number, I'll be keeping my current Cell Number. Surprise surpise, cell c went and proved right again. They gave me a new number I never needed. I immediately went the Randburg store, where a VERY HELPFULL lady by the name of Kea tried to resolve the mess. She called the call centre on my behalf, there I was promised that my number will be sim swapped in 4 hours because I have given the instruction. Tuesday I called to followup, I was told It'll be done by two. Up untill now Wednesday 4pm, nothing YET. PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP. It frustrating and a waste of time I dont have.
