MTN 'ACCIDENTLY' BLACKLISTED MY PHONE

On Saturday, I tried to use my phone only to see an error message displayed.

After speaking to the call centre they advised me that my imei number had been accidentally been blacklisted by somebody in the Mount Edgecome Branch. The call centre agent promised me that a request had been sent to the Mount Edgecombe Branch for this error to be rectified.

It is not Tuesday and i have been advised that no changes have been made. I am a contract customer and have 2 contracts with MTN, I have been a loyal customer for many years and am disgusted with this level of service.

I am sitting with a blacklisted phone which I am legally still paying subscription fees for and I will take further action should this not be fixed ASAP.

MTN have disappointed me, the call centre agents are very rude insted of being appologetic for this mistake.

I will definitely be changing networks and will advise everyone I know to stay away from MTN.
