Cell C cancells my contract

I arrived back in SA 3 weeks ago to find my contract had been cancelled. I was told to pay the remaining months which add up to R2000, and thats the bottom line, I just have to pay, according to their legal department. I changed my banking details, informed a consultant, was assured the details were captured and was promised that all would be well when I returned from my overseas trip of 4 months. I was informed that when I returned to SA I would have acumulated 3 months of airtime but the 4th would fall away. I was informed that roaming was not possible with my contract. I contacted a few franchises just to make sure the info was correct. I contacted Cell C again on the 19/12/2012, and again I was informed roaming was not possible and that everything would be ok when I arrived back. I have contacted Cell C on many occassions only to be told that I have to just pay up. Nobody has returned my phone calls to investigate further. I was actually very happy with the service I was recieving and had no intention of cancelling my contract. The issue is that a consultant did not capture my info correctly and my account which had funds was not debited. What do I do? Am i being ripped off?
