No line installed and WORST SERVICE EVER

I contacted Telkom in the middle of March to set up an ADSL line at my flat in Potchefstroom. Luckily there was one person at the Telkom Direct Store that could help me as the others were extremely rude. In 3 days a technician came to my flat, but told me I couldn't set up the line because the box is on a Telephone pole and not on the ground.

I contacted the technician and asked if there is no way this could be done as all lines I've seen in Potchefstroom comes from a pole and are not underground (even someone that lives in my complex). He said he'd sort it out. I got a call later that he sorted it out and that my order will be changed from "no infrastructure" to an open order so he can come again and set up the line.

That is the last I've heard of him. His phone is suddenly ALWAYS off and when I call Telkom they just say there's nothing I can do.

I don't understand this poor service. How can someone that lives in my complex (50 meters away from me) get a line, but I can't? This is ridiculous! I wouldn't have written this report if someone could actually help me. But there is absolutely no support whatsoever. I have never received such poor service from any company ever!
