Vodacom
IPhone 5 Battery issue

Telecommunications

I signed up for a 24-month contract (again) in Mid-March this year - I have been with Vodacom for years. I got an iPhone 5 16Gb. I noticed pretty soon that the battery was not well. I returned it to Vodashop Centurion within the specified 7 days. I was notified a week later that I could collect a new phone from stock. When I went to fetch the new phone, I asked the shop manager if I could get a replacement screen-guard for the one I had now lost on the returned phone. I was told no, sorry. This is no big deal. What gets me, is this; this new replacement phone I got also has a faulty battery. As with the previous dud, I read extensively on Google on how to optimise settings etc. I also did quite a few deep-cycle charges. This phone is displaying the same symptoms as the last. I am now way beyond the second 7-day period, but I cannot be without a phone for a month, and then have it returned "not repaired" as I know has happened to some people. I am disappointed and frustrated beyond belief. What do I do?
