MTN 808 customer care number doesn't care

I called the MTN 808 customer care number at 6 pm on the 14th May 2013. I followed the prompts and selected the option to speak to a consultant. After holding for 2 hours (I took a picture of the screen and can submit it as proof) I eventually hung up. How is it that a customer care number doesn't seem to care?
