Why are you giving out my number?

So I get called up by Elite mobile, offering me a pre-approved contract.
1) I currently have a contract. Why would I possibly want two contract phones?
2) Why is Elite Mobile, a company I have no affiliation with, calling me and telling me they're calling existing Vodacom subscribers with this offer?
3) Where did they happen to get their grubby mits on the info that I'm a current Vodacom SP subscriber?
4) Why am I constantly called up by Vodacom itself with new offers, and how do I get this annoyance to stop?

It's like you're actively trying to get me to not renew my contract come expiry time. Honestly, if I'm interested in a Vodacom service I'll call you. Stop calling me, and most importantly stop sharing my number with 3rd parties. I'll always, and I do mean always, say no to any unsolicited offers regardless of how polished the turd seems.
