No phone, no internet for almost 3 weeks!

I really thought that most people were exaggerated when they complained about Telkom, but alas... it is ALL true!!! I've been calling Telkom almost every day since 25 April. Some came to my house on the Friday which I though was pretty good service. He arrived at 14:00, checked the lines and modem (which at that stage worked intermittently) and confirmed that there was definitely something wrong with the network because now NOTHING was working. As he needed to get access from one of my neighbors house he would come back the next day (Saturday) at 7:30 to fix it. I was up at 7:00 to make sure I don't miss him and he NEVER came. Ever since then I've called them every single day. I've been "escalated" I don't know how many times, 'apologized' to, 'there is a lot of faults to get through in your area' but my best one is 'you just have to wait as there is a 7 day waiting period'...I've been waiting at that stage for 14 days. I even went as far as to call them when I was home to no avail. The call center is utterly useless with the manager not even bothering to return my call even after I've threatened to cancel my debit order. Friday is D day. It's either fixed or I cancel the contract.
