Phone line still not fixed after 3 weeks

Our phone/internet line went down after a lightning storm in Mid April. A fault was reported on April 18th. An initial target date for repair of May 22nd was given, this was then changed to May 12th and on May 3rd, a message was sent that the target date is May 1st. On May 10th, a new message was sent saying the target date for repair is May 22nd. We called the call center numerous times and no information was given other than "it's an area fault". When asked for clarification on the nature of the fault and the reason for the dates being changed, no clear answer was given. Also, when queried as to when restoration of service will occur, no clear answer was given. This level of service is unacceptable, as a similar issue occurred two years ago and it was sorted out in a matter of days and no clear reason has been given for the extra delay.
