Last year I upgraded to a Blackberry BIS contract from a previous contract that included insurance.
I was under the impression that the upgrade would include insurance, until my phone was and I tried to claim.

not once did anyone ask me about requesting insurance or mention that there was no insurance included in the contract. No follow up call took place either (It was mentioned to me by someone that she was phoned 6 months after she had taken out her contract and asked if she would like insurance?)

I did receive a phone call from Cell C after going onto Hello Peter but it left a bad taste in my mouth. All I was told is that I should have checked my invoice.

Why didn't the consultant ask if I would like insurance as the value of the phone was R6500.00?

I am disappointed in the service I have been provided, and would like to recommend that Cell C provide their call centre staff with adequate training to prevent instances like this.
