Roaming Mode - billed R2, 41 continiously!

Hi,
I went overseas 11Nov2012 - 22Jan2013, and set my phone to Roaming Mode as per Vodacom site -

On my return I noticed an exceptionally high bill as I sent very few sms's during this period.
On closer inspection I also noticed an amount of R2, 41 that was billed continiously.
Until today Vodacoms only response to ALL my queries was: Dear Autopage Client,
please be advised that the SMS did originate from this line.
0829129 is Vodacom's Message Centre number.
Charges to this number are for the international cost of SMS sent while roaming.
Now: I was charged R2, 41 a total of 419 times which equals R1009.79!!
I was also billed for the few sms's sent!
Heidi Gordon (Autopage Manager Somerset Mall) tried to help me but also ran into brickwall with Vodacom Call Centre/IT Dept. Not once did a supervisor call me back after repeated requests!
I can provide further documentation if neccesary.
