I really have to commend 8ta, once again managed to completely foul up the most basic of tasks. Having previously lamented their shoddy service; now they have really gone above and beyond. In short they had previously lost the contract (Greenstone branch's), failed to give feedback as promised (customer care's REF1070222), failed to respond after initial quick response on Hellopeter (8ta social) and now finally failure to make arrangements as promised (provided in writing) once again (8ta social). This makes me wonder if there is one dept in the whole circus that runs smoothly. In short- I was planning to sort out the contract so that I can take it through to her the weekend for Mother's day (so we can skype and she can communicate with my sister in NZ) as a present. 8Ta social had promised "We apologise for the delay in response. Kindly advise when you would like to go to Greenstone so that I can arrange with the store manager." and "Today or tomorrow will be fine. I will advise the branch manager.". After visiting both branches- not a single manager (very friendly) had any idea, had not been contacted or prepared and could not assist us. Another in a long list of disappointments!
