I have had ENDLESS problems with Telkom since I took my broadband service out in August 2012. After months of struggling with them which included being overcharged and not having any internet for periods of time I had no choice but to cancel my broadband data service with them.

Unfortunately even after specifying countless times that I wanted to keep my ADSL line, they still went ahead and cancelled it. More hours of my life wasted in calling them yet again resolved in the line being reinstated.

Then I continued to be charged for the broadband service that I wasn't using... more hours wasted.

Then another month passes and suddently I get a fat invoice detailing a contract forfeiture penalty!!! At no point when cancelling the data was I informed of a penalty and I think it's very clear that based on my constant struggles with Telkom that they were in breach of the contract and not me. They just could not provide me with the service that we agreed.

I'm furious and now after speaking to the call centre I am told I will have to wait to hear the results of my dispute. I am exhausted from calling to rectify their problems and I don't know what else to do.
