Incompetance, Bad attitude and NO SERVICE

About 3 months ago we bought a wireless dongle (prepaid and 1 year contract) from CellC Fourways and the service agent guaranteed us that there would be service in Northriding. We had very slow Internet connection for 2 days following purchase and then absolutely nothing afterwards.

After countless calls to the call centre and the Fourways branch where NO ONE could assist and the comment of "No one will be able to help you" arose, we are at our nerve's end.

How is it possible to charge somebody for a service that DOES NOT exist! How are South African companies allowed to get away with such daylight?! The whole reason for the wireless dongle is Internet access for a person studying a correspondence degree!

I've met Alan Knott-Craig at countless conferences and I actually thought that all his talk would finally result in action and spark the idea of CUSTOMER SERVICE in south Africa's retail market, again I find myself disappointed.

I do not like to complain but unfortunately with companies such as CellC in South Africa, it is the only way to receive some manner of service which is so very disappointing!

I would not reccomend CellC to anybody I encounter. Terrible!!!
