HOW LONG WILL PORTING TAKE?

I have now called Vodacom porting department so many times - i have given up. My number was suppose to be ported on the 3 May 2013, today the 07th, and after i have been advised twice this will be done - i am still waiting. if this is not done today - i fear i may rather move to cell c.
