My husband went to the Cell C Clearwater branch to apply for a contract on 24 April. He wanted a Galaxy S3 and they told us they were out of stock but will be receiving stock that weekend (26 April). They also said they will inform as soon as his application was approved. On Monday 1 May my husband phoned the shop, left a message and no one got back to him. Tuesday 2 May I went back to the shop to enquire if they received stock and if the application was successful as we had not heard anything from them. They told me the application was successful but they still didn't have stock. I spoke to Shaun (shop manager) and he ensured me that Werner (area manager) will be in contact with me. It's now a week later and we have not heard anything from them. We have phoned the cell number for their shop - left several messages - to no avail. We also phoned the landline number about 8 times and no one ever answered! What would be the incentive to switch from one dismal company (Vodacom) to another? This is ridiculous!
