Vodacom fails me again

I upgraded my contract on 23 March 2013. The phone proved to be faulty. I took it back the next day and spoke to the manager, Ricardo, who took the phone and promised me that the other phone I ordered would be there in 2 to 3 working days. More than one month later, I still hadn't heard anything. I went back, Ricardo apologised because no-one had contacted me. Surely he it was his duty to contact me? I was referred to Heinrich, a very friendly young man, trying his best. The phone I wanted was not in stock. Again. promises of 3 to 4 days, which stretched to 7 days. On Thursday 2 April, Heinrich phoned me to say that the phone had arrived. I said that I would definitely fetch it on Friday. When he saw me, he came straight to me and said that he was so sorry, he THOUGHT the phone was there the previous day, but it actually wasn't there You phone a client because you THINK her phone has arrived; only to tell her, without having to check, that the phone had not arrived? How can you make such a mistake? It just doesn't ring true to me. Could it have been a matter of the phone arriving and having been given to another client? I am disgusted by this kind of non-service!
