Vodacom taking me for a ride!

My monthly cellphone bill is usually R650 approx. Received a call from Vodacom a few days ago with info about the new Smart M package. Sounded fabulous. Was told that my bill would no longer be 600 but rather 400. Day 3 into the new package and my bill is already R502. Another 27 days to go until month end and I'd hate to know what the bill will be then. How does this work? A to get more money from existing clients!
