I signed up for the unlimited contract which they love to advertise at R 1199 but with all the extra's it came to R 1850.00 per month. After waiting for quite a while it was finally approved and I was told to collect the phone. An Iphone5. Store policy is that if the phone is not activated you cannot leave with it. They could not activate my phone. After three days of going in and out of the branch and the driver of the office driving around with my new phone in his pocket, I eventually told them to rather cancel it! (This is the short version!). They promised me it would be cancelled. Not trusting them. I still tried to get them to sign a letter that it was cancelled and they refused but confirmed verbally that it was cancelled. I got a bill for over R 3 000.00 as they had actually started billing me before I was even told to collect my phone! I phone to complain and they said it was just standard procedure but the debit order wouldnt come off. Lo and behold... My debit order just came off!! Apparently it is with the cancellations department who are slow in cancelling the contracts!!! DONT GO TO 8TA!! Even my client who has an unlimited contract is complaining about signal!!!
