Waiting 3 weeks for a porting to be done!!

On the 18/04/2013 i went to the 8ta store in Sandton to port my previous number (MTN) over onto my 8ta contract. I was called the next day and told that the porting did not want to go through and that i must do the porting at the store where the contract was taken up, i.e. the Rosebank branch. I visited the Rosebank 8ta store, completed the necessary forms - it's been 3 weeks and my number has still not been ported, something that i was told would take just 24 hours!! I have been told there was something wrong with the order and it had to be cancelled a couple of times and replaced but as a customer of 8ta, that really is not my concern especially given that i've waited long enough for the matter to be resolved! I really do not know what is even going on but this is pathetic service and i really am not impressed and i'm starting to have regrets about even joining 8ta!
