On 16-10-2013 I got confirmation of my order from Cell C. On 18-10-2013 I submitted a porting request to be effected on 27-10-2013 as my previous contract with a different Service Provider would expire on 26-10-2013.
I received my new mobile phone on /- 25-10-2013.
The Porting was NEVER DONE!!!
To date my number has not been ported even though I was informed by Ashnee Govender on 11-11-2013 that the porting would be complete in 24 hours because of their mistake in the porting not being done on 27-10-2013.
They are, however, not shy of sending out their account as I have just received my Invoice for costs of the first month of the contract... NOBODY CAN CONTACT ME ON MY MOBILE AS THE PORTING HAS NOT BEEN DONE!!!
They request a person to contact them per phone (it will not cost anything from your mobile) but when your mobile is not working???
It has cost me R41.62 to date from my Telkom line to try & sort THEIR mess out, and I have now told Cell C that I want a refund in the amount that it has cost me through Telkom... I wonder if that will happen???
For me, Cell C's Cust. Service Dept should be re-named as CUSTOMER DIS-SERVICE DEPT
