I had a rather terrible experience when trying to do a sim swap because my cell phone was a month ago so since then due to personal reasons i was unable to do a sim swap immediatly after my phone was. Today i called the 173 number to do a sim swap and was asked a series of questions which i was told were incorrect and i explained to the 1st consultant that it has been a month since i used that phone together with its sim card, the questions i failed were: what amount did i last load in terms of airtime to which i explained that it has been too long a time for me to remember then she proceeded to ask me what plan i was and told me to choose from call per second and mtn zone which i would not now as i just insert the sim and activated the previous phone and used it and nobody to my knowledge remembers the above.By this time i had already explained that i use my cell phone for incoming calls and that i am a basic user whom does not bother about such details as whether i'm which plan as this was a prepaid phone where i load airtime which i hardly do as it is mainly for receiving calls. This i had to repeat several times with different consultants with no help.
