Upgrading that resulted in arrears amount of R1400

I have been on Mtn contact since 2004 and never had issues at until last December when i went for an upgrade. The consultant advised me to take a higher package because of my spending, initially i agreed but after some advice decided against it. The consultant cancelled this and i signed up a contract of R269 To my surprise i owe MTN -R1400 which i didn't sign up for because the system only updates any changes made yo a contract a month later. I've been to the store several times and the consultants have always been helpful, unfortunately this is the billing query and the only thing they can do is forward this to the billing department with promises that it will be resolved. After several visits to the branch without a solution and 4 Months of arrears which will seriously mess up my credit record i think it's time to switch service providers. Come the end of my contracts I'm saying good bye to Mtn, cannot continue with a service provider that cannot resolve problems that have been caused by their system and i have to R1400 for that system error. Disappointed and can't wait for the end of my contracts
